Atik Cameras is pleased to introduce the ATIKbase: a single point of connectivity and control for your cameras and other hardware, giving a new level of portability and convenience to your imaging that takes the Atik Air concept and bundles it into an accessible unit.
Description
Increasingly, astronomers are seeking to improve the portability and convenience of their imaging. ATIKbase is a small computer that can be mounted to your telescope to conveniently control cameras and other hardware from your portable devices. The software is a collaboration with Ikarus Technologies to create a custom version of their highly regarded StellaMate system which gives the following abilities:
- Manage everything from one interface.
- Powerful image acquisition capability.
- Autofocusing.
- Support for internal and 3rd party guiding software.
- Plate solving and high accuracy GoTo telescope control.
- Imaging target suggestions.
- Workflow automation.
In addition to the above features the ATIKbase goes further and provides some benefits that enhance the user experience:
- Offline EKOS Live mode - To allow the StellaMate web interface running on mobile devices to control the imaging system without requiring access to the internet or VNC.
- Runs directly from 12V - further to that, the device can distribute 12V power to other hardware including cameras and mount.
- Includes a focus motor driver compatible with Robo focus, Moonlite or Lakeside motors to offer further integration.
- An ST4 port is on board to enable guiding if the mount can not be connected to the USB ports.
- Compatible with Atik Air.
Order Processing Time:
We typically process orders within 1 to 2 days. Please be aware that the deadline for placing orders is 6 p.m. Orders submitted after this time will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Information:
Expect your order to arrive in 4 to 7 days. We offer free shipping for orders over $200. For orders below $200, a flat shipping fee of $15 applies.
Please note that we currently only ship within the United States. International shipping is not available.
The majority of our orders are dispatched via third-party freight carriers (18-wheelers). In case your order includes an item that requires freight shipping, we will contact you to schedule a curbside delivery. Ensure that your contact number is correct at checkout.
Order Confirmation and Payment:
After you place your order, a confirmation email will be sent to you. This confirms that your order is registered in our system and your credit card is authorized for the purchase.
Your card will be charged only when the item is shipped. For backordered items, we might hold a charge to reserve the product for you.
As soon as we receive your order, we begin processing it immediately!

Return Period: Items can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns after this 30-day period.
Shipping Costs for Returns: If your purchase is defective or not as described, we'll cover the return shipping cost. However, if you're returning an item due to a change of mind, the shipping cost will be your responsibility.
Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive a defective or damaged product, please inform us within 30 days. We'll arrange a return at no extra cost to you. After receiving and inspecting the item, we'll either replace it or refund you in full, including shipping costs.
Returns Due to Change of Mind: If you change your mind about your purchase, you have 30 days to return it. Remember, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Upon receipt and inspection, we'll refund the cost of the item, excluding shipping charges.
Processing Refunds: Once we receive and verify the returned item, we'll initiate a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
